The Story Behind Glow Tween
The Story Behind Glow Tween
By Kaylea’s Mom – Founder of Glow Tween
Glow Tween isn’t just a brand. It’s a movement — and it started in our own living room, with crayons, notebooks, big dreams… and one bold little girl named Kaylea.
From the time Kaylea could walk, she’s been a force. Energetic, kind, thoughtful, and unafraid to lead, she has always had that sparkle — the kind you don’t teach, the kind you grow. In kindergarten, her classmates and teacher voted her “Most Likely to Be a Leader.” And they weren’t wrong.
But it wasn’t just about her shining. It was what she did with that light.
Kaylea started to notice that some of her friends didn’t speak up the way she did. Some were shy about raising their hands. Some hesitated before joining the game. Some didn’t think their ideas were good enough to be heard. And that didn’t sit right with her.
One afternoon, Kaylea looked up at me and said, “I wish my friends knew they could be bold too.”
And that’s when Glow Tween was born.
We didn’t have all the answers — but we had a mission: to create something that would help girls feel strong, seen, and celebrated just as they are. Something rooted in leadership, confidence, creativity, and kindness. And it had to be fun, too.

Empowering the Next Generation of Brave Girls
Glow Tween reflects who Kaylea is — a girl who isn’t afraid to speak up and who wants every girl to feel that way, too. It’s made for girls like her and the ones she wants to uplift: the quiet ones, the silly ones, the athletic ones, the artistic ones, and every girl in between.
This brand is about raising the next generation of leaders — not someday, but right now. Because we believe that leadership starts early. And it starts with girls who glow.
So here we are — building something together that’s bigger than both of us. Glow Tween is her idea, our project, and your movement.
Let’s raise confident girls together.
